I write songs, I sing them... I play the piano and a little bit of the guitar.. I've released 5 albums of music, I love the scent of freshly fallen rain and the scent of lavender on bedsheets. I would drink tea all day long if the caffeine didn't keep me up at night. I hate driving in L.A traffic. I would love to one day catch the squirrel that steals the plums from my tree and make him a pet. I don't watch TV anymore. My 3 year old daughter is more entertaining than any TV show could ever be :)

A Massage in Malaysia

Just got back home from a one-and-a-half
hour long massage.. sheer bliss....
and it only cost 35 Ringgit, ie. $17.50 Singapore
dollars or about $10 US dollars.

There is something special about the healing
touch of a massage.

Soothing an aching neck and back...smoothing
out the knots that come from circling
the road of life over and over... magically transforming a hard brick
into a soft, melting lump of butter.

You can say all you want about the benefits
of those robotic massage armchairs, or those
massaging feet machines, but nothing beats
the feeling of two warm hands and an able
masseuse.

And when the massage is done, you're just overcome
with a sense of gratefulness, because under all our make-up,
our fancy schmanzy clothes, under all the guises of business
men and women, of tyrannical monarchs, of powerful politicians,
of be-spectacled college professors, of muscular bodybuilders
and chauvanistic men or raging feminists....under
all the masks and pretences that we wear...
we're all beating hearts, blood and flesh...

and sometimes, all we need to melt our armours away,
is a simple touch that shows someone cares.

Clarissa,

Sorry I'm not able to oblige at this point in time. We're still working on getting the scores together and unfortunately it is not ready yet. Once I get done with
my concerts in Singapore, I might have more time to post some chords.

Hi Corrinne..
Just want to tell you that you sang and played beautifully at the concert tonight! Was there with my boyfriend, and it truly was such a great Valentine's Day prezzie from him.. to be able to hear you sing in Singapore ( and me being lucky enough to hear you sing live befor i head back to Perth)..
You have the gift of song... and i'm glad to be able to be touched by the purity and the honesty in your music..
Wishing you the best of luck in all that you do, and will continue to support you...
Your new song "beautiful seed" was so indeed the song for the unborn child..
keep up the good work love.
Thank you.
Best wishes,
Debs

Dear Corrinne,

i'm so upset! I wanted to catch your concert at NUS, and my friend said she'd book the tickets. But she clear forgotten about it, and so i couldnt buy them from sistic. Then when you announced that you'd be doing a second night, i was for a second overjoyed, only to realise i'm not free on that day.

I'm so sad. This is not the first time i've missed your concerts. And i so wanted to get your autograph on the Fly Away album i bought at HMV.

When will you be coming to sg again?

Hi Corrinne,

my name is William, year 3 NUS student.

I posted the lyrics of your song "Fly Away" on my blog (cos I loved it so much the very first time I heard it) and I have NO IDEA it was your song! Haha, I feel such a fool. -.-||

BUT, Your concert at UCC was SIMPLY AWESOME. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves. I was sitting on the second floor on the right side, so that we could face you directly, but unfortunately, cos I play the piano, I can't really see what you are playing! Heh. I guess that I just had to make do with just trying to listening to your CD to hear what you are playing and to reproduce. Haha.

If there are charts they would be extremely helpful.

Your music is awesome. Keep it up!
